Across the state of Minnesota, the roadways are more crowded than ever. Obviously, more vehicles sharing the road will only lead to more motor vehicle accidents. Although no person wants to be involved in a crash, nearly every driver will be involved in a traffic accident at some point in his or her life. Thankfully, the vast majority of accidents are very minor. However, serious or fatal motor vehicle accidents can be extremely stressful and traumatic for all who are involved.

A recent accident in Minneapolis claimed the life of one motorist and injured two others. The crash happened during the early evening hours at the intersection of County Road 1 and Highway 27. According to reports, the driver of a pickup truck traveling along Highway 27 ran a stop sign and collided with another pickup truck that was traveling north.

Reports said the impact knocked the second pickup truck into a third pickup truck that was traveling west on Highway 27. Tragically, authorities said the driver of the second pickup truck was killed in the crash. Reportedly, the drivers of the other two pickup trucks both suffered serious injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police said the accident remains under investigation.

Unfortunately, serious or fatal crashes can happen when least expected. Those in Minnesota who have suffered injuries or loss due to negligence motor vehicle accidents may want to consider seeking the services of a seasoned litigator. A lawsuit, if successful, could result in rightful compensation to help victims and families with any financial losses.
