Biography

In his career as a civil trial lawyer Greg has tried over 30 jury/bench trials, handled hundreds of arbitrations, and resolved even more cases through mediation. A creative and inquisitive mind combined with a naturally competitive spirt propelled Greg to be named a Super Lawyer by his peers in the legal community after only his third year in practice. Greg has continued to maintain the Super Lawyer recognition over the course of his career. In 2006 Greg gained membership into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and in 2020 into the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Greg was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar Association and the United States District Court of Minnesota in 1999. He obtained his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law, now Mitchell-Hamline School of Law, and received his undergraduate degree from the University of St. Thomas.

Since being admitted to the bar Greg has been an active member in the following legal associations:

• American Association of Justice
• Minnesota Association of Justice
• Minnesota Bar Association
• Ramsey County Bar Association

In addition to practicing law Greg has been a member of the St. Paul Curling Club for over thirty years and in 2012 co-authored a historical book about the St. Paul Curling Club entitled 100 Roaring Years on Selby Avenue, The St. Paul Curling Club.

Additionally, Greg is a volunteer Coach for a high school Mock Trial team and organizer of intramural high school curling clubs.

Greg also serves on the Boards of Directors for the St. Thomas Academy Alumni Association, St. Paul Curling Club and St. Paul Curling Foundation (Board Member 2009-201 and Finance Committee 2020).
